Zoning Verification / Classification Letter
A fee for a stand-alone zoning verification or zoning-classification letter is not published in the City's Chapter 60 fee-update document (rates effective 7/1/24, 7/1/25 and 7/1/26). Zoning itself is codified separately, in Chapter 59, which has its own application-and-fee section (§59-4100); ask the Subdivision and Zoning section whether a letter is charged. The Planning Department's Subdivision and Zoning section (subdivisionandzoning@okc.gov, 405-297-2623) is the office that answers zoning-classification and compliance questions for a specific address. This is distinct from a rezoning or other Planning Commission land-use application, whose fees the City raised effective July 18, 2025.
