About each permit
Food/Lodging Establishment Plan Review Fee (OCCHD)
A non-refundable $425.00 fee, paid directly to OCCHD (not the City, and not the Oklahoma State Department of Health), for its own review of construction plans before work starts on a new, remodelled, converted or fire-restored food establishment — required on top of both the City's Food Service Establishment License above and Oklahoma's own statewide license/plan-review fee recorded at the state layer, even though the dollar figures happen to match. OCCHD's own instructions note that building plans need not be separately submitted if the project is in a municipality that already routes plans to the health department as part of its own permitting process, but the plan-review application and fee must still be submitted regardless. OCCHD's jurisdiction for this purpose is Oklahoma County; Oklahoma City's limits also reach into Cleveland, Canadian, Pottawatomie and Grady counties, and a project in those portions should ask OCCHD which health authority reviews its plans.
Childcare Facility Kitchen Inspection (OCCHD)
OCCHD's own childcare-inspection page states plainly that 'OCCHD only does inspection by request from DHS' — the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (Child Care Services) requests this kitchen/food-safety-and-sanitation inspection as part of its own state licensing process, not the childcare facility directly, and no fee for this specific inspection is published anywhere on OCCHD's site. Do not confuse this with the Food/Lodging Establishment Plan Review fee recorded above, which applies only when a facility is newly built, remodelled or converted, and which OCCHD does charge for directly.
