Who we are
About Commercial Compliance Hub
A free public record of the licences, permits and certificates US businesses need to operate.
What is this?
Commercial Compliance Hub is a public reference for business licensing. It answers one question properly: what licences, permits and certificates does a given type of business need in a given place — what do they cost, who issues them, how long do they take, and when do they renew.
It is free, it requires no account, and it carries no advertising.
Why does it exist?
Because the information exists but is scattered across several thousand government websites, and the sites that aggregate it are usually either selling something or years out of date. A business owner who wants a straight answer currently has to become a part-time researcher.
How is it funded?
This release has no revenue model. That is deliberate: introducing one now would compromise the only thing that makes the site worth using.
