Outdoor Event Permit
The City's Outdoor Special Event Permits page states that an Outdoor Event Permit, administered by Planning and Zoning, is necessary for any outdoor event that goes beyond the property's normal business operations based on crowd size, parking, vendors, large tents, street closures and use of right-of-way. The $50 filing fee is as published on the City's Development Services Fee Schedule 2025-2026 and on the Outdoor Event Permit Application, which shows non-profit organisations at $0. The FY2026-27 fee resolution presented to City Council on 17 September 2026 prints the same figure. The application must be submitted 60 days before the event, and any fire, health, building, electrical and certificate of occupancy permits must be obtained before the event opens.
