About each permit
Certificate of Occupancy
A separate, still-published Temporary Certificate of Occupancy intake form states a flat $500 fee — that form appears stale relative to this Mayor & Council-adopted master fee schedule, which took effect July 1, 2026, and is used here as the authoritative, current figure.
Commercial Building/Alteration Permit
For new commercial construction (not an alteration), the fire staff-review rate is 3% rather than 2.5%.
Sign Permit
A standalone 'Permanent Sign Fees' PDF dated October 2022 shows lower, now-superseded figures and should not be used.
