About each permit
Electrician License
A striking gap between the application fee and the renewal fee: both journeyman and master applications cost the same modest $50, but renewal jumps to $150 for a journeyman and $270 for a master, on a three-year cycle. A high or medium voltage electrician's renewal is also $270. An electrical corporation registering as a business pays a separate $50 application, a $20 certificate fee and $125 to renew.
Barbering, Cosmetology or Esthetics Shop License
A hundred and ten dollars for the shop license itself, whether applying, renewing or reinstating, with a further $100 inspection fee charged on the initial visit and on routine inspections after that. This is separate from the far cheaper individual practitioner licenses, each $55 to apply, renew or reinstate, covering barbers, master barbers, cosmetologists, manicurists and estheticians individually.
Plumbing License
Plumbing and mechanical trades sit under one combined board here rather than being split apart, unlike electrical work, which has its own separate board. A master plumber pays $310 to apply and $300 to renew; a journeyman $190 and $180; an apprentice $90 and $80. The same board licenses fuel gas fitting, hearth installation and domestic appliance work as related but distinct credentials, each in a similar $170 to $190 price range, plus a $250 fee for a mechanical business entity registering as a company.
Veterinary Facility Permit — State Board Position (New Hampshire)
There is no state facility fee listed. The Board of Veterinary Medicine's own page, under 'Who We Regulate', names only one category, Veterinarian, and lists no premises, facility or hospital credential. The term veterinary facility does appear in the board's administrative rules, but as a defined term used to describe where an individual practitioner practises for inspection purposes, tied to that person's own license rather than functioning as a separate licensable entity in its own right.
