About each permit
Sign Permit
Maximum permitted sign area is formula-driven by zoning district on the application itself: lot frontage width × 1 for O and C1 zones, × 2 for C3 and C4 zones (minus any existing signage on the property); other zones must consult the sign ordinance directly. No ground-mounted or directory sign may sit within the ordinance's defined sight triangle or closer than 100 feet to another such sign absent a hardship waiver from the Planning Director. A notarized Affidavit of Acknowledgment must be returned to the Office of Planning and Development before any sign may legally be erected.
