About each permit
County Liquor License
Cass County Code §615.010(B), adopted by Ord. No. 15-03 on July 30, 2015, states: 'No person, firm, partnership or corporation shall manufacture, sell, or expose for sale on any premises in Cass County any alcoholic beverage without displaying on the premises a current and valid County liquor license.' Section 615.010(A) sets fees 'as provided in the fee schedule set forth in Tables 615-1A and 615-1B, attached hereto and on file in the office of the County Clerk, together with a processing fee of three dollars ($3.00).' The Clerk's application form states the county license is not effective until the applicant holds a license from the Missouri Supervisor of Liquor Control, and a city license if the city's ordinance requires one. The application is notarized and returned to the County Clerk.
