The license fee is set by total building square footage, and the schedule prints a local fee, a State of Michigan fee and a total: $474 + $30 = $504 for 0-1,000 sq ft, $868 + $30 = $898 for 1,001-3,000 sq ft and $1,303 + $30 = $1,333 for 3,001 sq ft or more.
